Making A Realistic Yet Simple Removable Load (updated)

Updated: Oct 15, 2022

In this post I am going to show you how to make a removable load that can be used on trucks or rolling stock.

Materials Needed

  • PVA Glue

  • Sponge

  • Scissors

  • Scatter Material

Step 1

The first thing your going to want to do is cut your sponge to the right size so it can fit into the dump bed of the truck. I will be using the tipper truck that i sell: Find it here

Step 2

Once you have cut it to the right size and test fitted it you will want to give it a bit of an undulated shape.

Step 3

Next its time to break out the PVA glue. You will want to make a blob of glue so that you can dunk the sponge in to the glue.

Step 4

Now for the fun part. Place your drenched sponge into your desired scatter material. Shake the container so that the material has more of a chance to adhere to the sponge. Once you take it out you should be rewarded with a lovely looking load.

Conclusion

And there you have it, a simple but realistic load that took very little time to make!
